Personalised nutrition

There is no one size fits all when it comes to nutrition and health. Tailoring nutritional advice and formulating a plan to fit you and your individual needs or health complaints is key to making sustainable change. Having that support and accountability on the journey to better health and wellbeing is fundamental and what brings about results.

Mums and kids

I have a particular interest in women and children’s nutrition. I see women from the preconception period right through pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. I also love working with babies, toddlers and children from weaning to fussy eating. I believe nurturing and supporting little one’s relationship with food in those early years is so important for their long-term eating habits and wellbeing.

  • A woman feeds her playing baby

When is it the right time to wean your baby?

What I would advise is not to leave weaning too long beyond 6 months, even If your baby is slow to take to solids that is fine and it can be built at gentle pace. There are 3 important signs to look out for that will indicate if your baby is ready for food.

    How sleep affects eating habits

Most will attest to the fact that when they are tired and sleep-deprived, their eating habits change. We know about the importance of sleep and that insufficient sleep is associated with multiple negative health outcomes. But how does lack of sleep affect eating habits?
